Magnet Off of Phonebook

Hello,
I thought I would share a idea I had.  You know there are certain times of the year and phone book will be dropped off at your doorstep and on the phone book there will be a magnet on it for either pizza or attorneys.  Well I thought I would save this magnet and use it for something else. I have overhead space at work and they are metal,  I have  pictures and notes for work on the overhead. I thought I would decorate this magnet and below is the before and after pictures of the magnet.
Supplies
Ribbon from Michaels
DCWV Sweet Pad
Thickers Chipboard

Vintage Photo Cube

Happy Sunday,
Hope you had a wonderful weekend, I did yesterday was my birthday it wa a great day to spend with my family. I thought I would make a photo cube, I wanted to make it look vintage.  I had pictures of my grandparents that I thought I would put on the photo cube and also of my mom when she was a young girl with her brothers and sister.  The photo cube I got from Splitcoast Stampers I will put the link for this cube and the measurements needed to do this cube.
Now that I am older I love history and vintage stuff, how people dressed, the cars, ect..  in the early 1900 thru 1940's. The cube I made it simple but I love it. I still may add a couple of more things that may make 3rd picture below I am not sure.

Supplies

Trick or Treat layout

Here is a layout I made using the Happy Haunting Cricut cartridge I found on this cartridge when you go to cut out what you have chosen the size is smaller.  You may have to use the real dial size to make bigger cuts if you need them. Its not what I had pictured in my mind. Its not jumping out at me.
Oh well its simple. I left a space in between to put a journaling.

Hauls

I just had to share the hauls I have made over a couple of weeks, but I have not been really been able to play with what I got. Its great to come home 2 days in a row and have packages waiting for me.  I saw where Joanns had the Cricut cartridges for $39.99 on line so I decided to go and pick up a few cartridges. I had ordered 2 of them on line and then I had went to the store and picked up Rock Princess & Winter Frolic while I was there I also picked up a few Inkadinkadoo $1 stamps.

I have been bad this month, its really going to show in my check book.  I also ordered 3 Birds on Parade from HSN this is really a cute cartridge and I had to have it.  I ordered it last week and it was at my door Monday. I was not expecting it until next week.
While I was out yesterday I had stopped my Michaels to pick up supplies for my daughter school project.  I had ran across the pink ATG gun with glue refills there.  So I just happen to have a coupon I had to use it could not let the coupon go to waist. I also picked up more of the Studio G $1 stamps they were really cute.

I have a birthday this month and its like having a early birthday for me. Love it.
Thought I would share in my little shopping spree I have had.

Bottle Water Treat Holder

Hello Everyone,
I was in the vets office when I saw a lady bring some bottle water in with this treat holder attached to them.  I thought they were really cute and I was trying to figure out the measurements by making a picture of it in my mind, well that did not work too well.   I found Dawn video on Youtube.  It is really easy to make, with it as hot as it is here in TN I though I would like to make some more and give them to the girls in my office.

Here is the link to Dawn video on how to make these.

Peachy Keen Challenge #34

Hi everyone
I am home today from work, our air conditioner went out last night.  It is HOT & HUMID here in TN. I am waiting for the new air conditioner to be installed. I stayed in my craft room that is downstairs since its cooler. As the afternoon that went on it was not as cool downstairs.  I am a little sticky, I did the PKC Challenge #34 to keep my mind off of being hot. Below is the sketch we had to use. Since it has been hot over here I thought I would do a Christmas card to be cool. Christmas is not too far. I used my Gypsy to make sure my snowman would fit in these ovals.

Try to stay cool and Thanks for stopping by for a visit.
