Maggie Cleaning Digi & Fun Borders, Paper Princess

Happy Sunday,
Hope you are all having a wonderful day, I spent the day at home, watching TBS, crafting and picking up the house. TBS had some good movies on today.
I wanted to share a card I made today using 2 of Creative Time Stamps set. The first stamp set is Fun Borders and the 2nd

stamp is Paper Princess. I also tried something different I purchased a digi stamp from The Greeting Farm. When I was going thru there products I saw this one stamp its called Maggie Cleaning Digi. When I saw this stamp I had ideas going thru my head and Emmas stamps Fun Borders and Paper Princess. I had bought this stamp and a couple of other rubber stamps can't wait to get those. I am also in the process up adding Copic markers to my collection I have a few but not enough. I colored this image using the Prisma pencils and mineral spirits. I picked up a few more Prisma pencils while they were on sale at Hobby Lobby this past week. It did not come out the way I wanted it too, hopefully when I add more copics to my collection it will turn out better.
This is my Maggie
I thought I would add a charm to bow. I cant remember where I got it but I had it in my stash I thought it would add the perfect touch. I am not pleased on her her face turned out when I colored her. But it is what it is. I used my Gypsy to size up the layering on my scallop squares.

I hope you have a good rest of the day Thank you for stopping in and visiting my blog. Thank You to all my wonderful comments on the the blog hop I really appreciate them I read them all. Thank You to my followers and my new followers I appreciate you guys following me.

Happy Easter

Happy Thursday,
Thank You for stopping by and visiting my blog, I really appreciate you visiting. It has been crazy at my house with Softball season picking up, and working. After I get done with my stuff at home I make time to make cards. Here is one I made over the weekend in between softball games. Let me say that having the Gypsy really helps. I dont know what I would do with out it now that I have it. I love the stamps Emma has put out they rock.
I used my Gypsy hide conture to hide the face of the rabbit. I think the Peachy Keen face stamps add some character the paper images that are cut out. Dont forget to visithttp://www.creativetimeforme.com/ for her new stamps set she has put out.

Get Well soon

Happy Sunday,
Hope eveyone had a good weekend? The weather was fantastic here. I was able to find a little time for me to make a couple of cards in between softball games. I pulled out some of my House Mouse stamps, I just love these little critters. I stamped the imgage with Momento Ink and colored it with my Prisma colored pencils and I have a few Prang. I am really leaning closer and closer to buying some copic markers. I had Copic markers in my basket at Joanns on line, but I did not buy them. I am going to have to wait till it gets closer to the end of the month when I get paid.
Here is my card below, I am ok with it except for the asprin bottle should have used another color, I dont know what I was thinking.
I embossed the Get well soon sentiment with white embossing powder, used my gel roll pen to stitch the outside of the card, inked around the edges, and distressed the edges of the stamped image.

THROWBACK THURSDAY

Happy Thursday!!
Its time for another Throwback Thursday, we could use any older cartridge our choice. I choose a couple of the Imagine cartridges, Base Camp and one of the newest stamp set So Grateful For You. The card I made was with my sister in mind. There is a little story behind this card on why I made it. Yesterday was not a good day for me, my sister beloved Yorkie Ozzy had passed away Tuesday night while she held him. He had a enlarged heart he was probably 15 years old. She had found him back in 2001 when she had taken him to the vet they said he was probably 4 or 5 years old. She loved him so much. She had taken him to the vet this past Sunday because he was not doing good. But the vet kept him for a little while said he was doing better and gave her medicine for him she would be able to take him home, to continue to give him his medicine. I talked to her on Tuesday she said he was doing well as could expected for his condition. Later that night he passed, I woke up Wednesday morning to get ready for work checking my email, she had emailed me he had passed. My heart broke for my sister and tears rolled down my face. I got a call from her 30 minutes later. We cried on the phone together, I felt so helpless I could not hold my sister to console her, since my sister lives in Las Vegas and I am here in Tennessee. This challenge was geared toward the passing of my sister best friend.

I am sorry to have got off track but I just wanted to explain my card.
Well back to the challenge we were to use any older cartridge, and it must have green for St. Patty Day, and I used the newest stamp set by Miss Emma

Your My Superman

Hi,
come on in glad you could stop by and visit for a little bit. I want to share a card I made using the DC Superman cartridge I got the other day in the mail. I also used My Creative Time new stamp set You're My Best Buddy.
This is a cute stamp set. I LOVE IT!!
I cut superman out at 4 3/4 and some of the pieces were very small and its hard to handle the small pieces of paper when you have long nails. It took a little while to put him together. His cape tore some, I had to recut the cape and change my blade and slow down the speed a little bit. I did not use my real dial size, I probably should have. I hope you like him. I made this card with my husband in mind he is my superman, I just love him, he can do anything he is a very good Superman.

My Husband Is A Sweetie

Well hope everyone had a good day, my day was good glad to be home. Working for the weekend. This morning I was getting my stuff ready to leave the house for work and my husband asked me if I had to my some more cricut/scrapbook stuff I told him yes always. He gave me pre-paid Mastercard for me to shop on. I thought that was sweet of him to ask me and give it to me do do what I want with. I have my eye on the 2 most wanted cricut carts Kates ABC and Baby Steps and of course my Joanns where I live has not stocked their shelves with these carts and they out of stock on Joanns online. UHH so fustrating! I will be in a area where a Michaels store is not sure if should spend it there or maybe get Peachy Keen Stamps, or Paper Trey ink paper, or apply it to copic markers. The gift card is $90 Yipee!
Oh well I just wanted to share this and how thoughtful my husband was. I need to think of doing something nice for him.
Have a good nite.
