I'm married,I have 2 grown boys and a daughter.I have 2 spoiled Yorkies they are my babies. love to make cards, mini albums, and layouts when I get a chance. I love to be home crafting. I like watching movies, cross stitch, may read a good book occasionally. I also love photography. I work full time to support my stamping, scrapbook and photography habit. I can buy any electronics I may need to help me with my hobbies.
Just thought I would post a one of my cards I made while I was snowed in I did not get many done but I got a few. I used the cuttlebug folder for the background embossing and mini monograms for the scalloped circle and the little heart was used from Sweethearts cartridge the border scallop was from Stampin Up one of the new punches. I love it its pretty, and the stamp is a Studio G stamp. I got to go and get ready for bed its late and I am going to attempt to go to work

I have finally got my Expression back, It had froze up when I had downloaded update Provo Craft put out on Christmas Eve, then after that my Gypsy was not working either. I was sad because I was not able to play with my Cricut toys. My Gypsy I had bought when HSN had the big release I had not had it long when it got sick. When I called Provo Craft they had sent me a Expression that did not work I had to resend that one back and the next one did not work either so I had to send it back and finally the 3rd one was a charm and it worked. I had to send my Gypsy back, and was sent another gypsy well the one they sent me did not work the usb was not recognized, I had uploaded the software and it could not recognize the usb. I tried to connect to different computers in the house with no luck of the usb being recognized, I tried everythng with no luck of it being recognized. I am waiting for my Gypsy to return to me I hope they transfer all my cartridges I had on my Gypsy to the new one. I hope everything goes smoothly when it is returned and all will be well in my scrapbooking toys. Did not mean to make this a long post. But I have wanted to decorate my Expression now that I have it back I have decorated it. I am happy with the way it came out.
Thanks for looking and have a good evening.

This is a Valentine Card I Made I used House Mouse stamp for Valentines I used Close To My Heart Stamps for the XO and the Sweetheart under the picture and the XO was from one of my Cricut Cartridges I am sorry I cant remember which one. I used Stampin Up pencils to color the mice and then used blending pens, the and border punch was Fiskers and the corners i used my stampin up punch. I love House Mouse they are so precious.
This is a Birthday album I made showing the different birthdays we have celebrated in our family. I thought it was a cute chipboard album. I used different products to decorate this album, some of the products were cricut cartridges, sizzix, cuttlebug, Stampin up, Martha Stewart punch, ribbon, and buttons.
I am in Texas, visiting my son who is on leave from Iraq, we went shopping in Austin, before leaving the hotel was trying to find directions to a scrapbook store, I Google Archievers found one in Austin but was not sure if it was going to be close to the Lakeline mall. Off we went to the mall, after leaving there headed over to Best buys and low and behold across the parking lot was the Archievers scrapbook store. My eyes were big like saucers. I was in so excited I was like a kid in the candy store. I could have shopped till I dropped, I wish Nashville would get a Archievers the closest to us is in Memphis.
I just thought I would stock up on paper and embellishments. I could have stayed in the store for hours. I walked out spending under a $100.00.
The past week has been busy for me, my son was given a vacation from Iraq and we drove down to TX to see him, so my husband drove all night. It has been 2 years since Michael has seen his brother, we will all be together as a family. Maybe I can finally get a family photo of all of us. I was trying to post a scrap project I had done but was not able too. I made this gift box, I saw it on youtube on Stamping with dawn. She made it look so I easy so I decided I would try it. Here is what I did. Thanks for looking. Happy Friday
My neice had was having a baby shower back in 2008she asked me to make Thank You notes for her. She likes the Precious Moments theme and she also like monkies. I told her I would make them for her. I had to make 40 cards. That was alot of work, but I enjoyed making them and it challenged me to come up with different cards. I have posted a few of them. I loved they way some of the cards turned out. I loved making them for her. I hated to let them go.
I thought I would post some Valentine bags I made for my co-worker, I used the Tags & Bags and More cricut cartridge, and a sizzix heart cut out and I cant rememer what cartridge I used for the butterflies. I stamped them with stamps from Close to My Heart. I filled them with Valentine candy. They were just the right size to hand out with Valentine goodies.
Since Valentines is next month I thought I would post a Valentine project. I made these Valentine cards for my daughter about 3 years ago. I thought it would be different to have handmade Valentine cards instead of store bought. I used stamps from Close To My Heart and decorative scissors. She said the girls in her class thought they were neat.
I wonder what the new year has in store for me. Today has been busy for my husband and myself. He has been a good sport and missed some of his New Years Day football games to install the cabinets and counter tops for my scraproom. This was good project everything went smoothly no problems. here are some pictures
