I just thought I would share.

Easter Card & Thinking of You Card

Hey everyone, I am so glad to be home from work the day seemed to have dragged for me. It was a long Monday. I was ready to come home and play with my new cartridges I have.  I made a Easter card from the new Easter 2010 cartridge, I made the rabbit and the scalloped circle, I had used my Stampin up punch I love this punch , and Close to My Heart stamp, and I distressed the brown boarder and inked the edges. Its simple I thought I should get started with Easter being not far off.
I also made a Thinking of You card, I'm sorry I cant remember cartridge I used for the Frog, used Fiskers border punch for the bottom, and scallop was from one of my cartridges again I am sorry I cant remember. I added googley eyes on him and added ribbon to the bottom.

Well thanks for for looking have a good evening.

Bought Me Some Goodies

I am upset that I have not been able to post anything to my blog, I have been so busy here at home I took a couple of days off from work to do a home project. We had hardwood floors put into our family room and they turned out beautiful.  When we had our couch delivered this past Thursday and the delivery guys could not get into the room. We had to go out on Thurday night and look for another couch,  that was delivered on Saturday and got a shorter couch it would not work either my heart was broke, I loved the couches we picked out. here we go again looking for another couch on Saturday night, we ended up getting media seats that can me made into a couch, those are to be delivered Tueseday.  I was hoping to have the home project done by Thursday or Friday then have time to make cards or layouts, it did not work out that way.
I did find time to do a little shopping I picked up a Martha Stewart punch, Prima Flowers,  and $1.00 chipboard. Then I stopped off at Hobby Lobby and picked up Martha Stewart Glitter.  I have been eyeing the Martha Stewart glitter and decided to buy it.  I will attempt to make a card using the glitter.

I also made a birthday card, I love making birthday cards but here is the one I made with  cupcake tell me what you think, I think the top of the card is missing something.
Thanks for stopping by.
Take care

Another Altered Composition Book

I thought I would share another altered composition book I made for my daughter. She saw the one I made for her friend at school and asked if I would make her one. So I finanly did she is a Vanderbilt fan and loves  horses. She asked me to put the Vanderbilt logo on the front of the book and on the inside she wanted a horse.  This is what it looks like in the light box I made. I used a couple of Cricut cartridges for the letters and star, Old West for the horse, and the Stampin Up border punch, I just love this punch.
Thanks for looking.
Have a good night.

Excited I Made a Light Box

Good Evening,
I'm excited for the Do It Yourself project I did. I made a light box for my projects I make. I was tired of not getting the proper lighting to show the true colors of the projects. I looked on line to see how much one would cost and the prices started out at $30 to $80 dollars, and  even higher than that for a light kit. So I did some research and found directions on how to make my own light box for very little money.  So I gathered my supplies of  cardboard box, tape, scissors, ruler, white sheet, light lamps from Lowes, and white paper.  I am so excited I was able to make a light box, this is what it looks like.  Below are some pictures I took of  a card I previously made and a Yorkie figurine. I love  how well the light brings out the color and detail. I can also change out the background to different colors.
Well Thanks for looking
