I'm married,I have 2 grown boys and a daughter.I have 2 spoiled Yorkies they are my babies. love to make cards, mini albums, and layouts when I get a chance. I love to be home crafting. I like watching movies, cross stitch, may read a good book occasionally. I also love photography. I work full time to support my stamping, scrapbook and photography habit. I can buy any electronics I may need to help me with my hobbies.
I am a little excited, my hubby and I went out this morning and picked up my cabinets and counter tops from Home Depot today. Instead of celebrating New Years I will be cleaning out my room and getting ready for the cabinets to be put in place. I have my work cut out for me. I will take pictures of us putting them in the cabinets and countertops. I have to think of something nice to do for my husband, he will be doing most of the work. I really appreciate him he a jack of all trades. I just love him. : -)
I bought this picture frame on clearance at Hobby Lobby I added alphabet and butterfly using the cricut machine, added a rub on flower on the bottom of the picture frame and added a border on the top of the frame and inked the edges of the frame. The bathtub was already on the frame. I thought I would add a little more to it. I sent this to my sister for her grand daughter.
Hello, Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas, hard to believe New Years Eve is tomorrow. The holidays have kept me busy. I am on vacations this week, have done some things around the house but not much. My mother in law knows I wanted to re-do my scrapbook room so she gave me gift cards to Home Depot for Christmas. I mentioned to my husband who is off work this week. I should look into getting my cabinets this week. So today we went and picked out cabinets and countertops and paid for them. Home Depot is looking for left mighter side counter top they did not have it at that store, the counter top I picked out was beige and cabinets are dark wood. The guy who helped us was very helpful. If they cant find the beige counter top I may go with the grey ones I want this little project done before I go back to work on Monday. I will post pictures of my scraproom as it looks before and after. I am excited I am trying to get organized. I had also bought myself a flat screen 26" tv with some of my Christmas money . I orginally had a 13" inch tv and it was hard to hear the volume when I was on my treadmill. Here are picures of what my room looks like now. I would love to move my treadmill out and have more room but I am not ready to leave it out in the garage. Can't wait to get the cabinets in.
Well Christmas has come and gone, I am kind of sad to see it go but there is always next year. I had a wonderful Christmas got a phone call from my son who is in Iraq it was bitter sweet. I miss him, he is such a good boy. He is a man but he will always be my boy. Soon it will be time to take down the decorations I dont like doing that.
Well Merry Christmas and I hope everyone had a Wonderful Christmas.
Take care bye for now
just 3 more days for Christmas, time is flying before I came home stopped at the grocery store and picked up some cookie dough and chocolate to make chocolate covered pretzels for people I work with. Came home made about 3 dozens cookies, reheated left overs. Everything is packaged up for tomorrow.
After I did all that I went downstairs and finished the altered composition book. My daughter friend is a Alabama fan, I hope she likes it. That is it for now, time to watch National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, we sit down as a family and watch this show. Its a classic have a good night. Thanks for looking. Oh ya the letters that say Roll Tide Roll are from Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge cut at 1 inch, and the image of the elephant is off the internet, and the circles were cut from Plantin School cartridge as well and the A in the circle is from Stone Script cut at 1 inch. Thanks for looking and have a great evening.
Christmas is almost here and normally by now I am ready for it, but not this year I have stayed busy trying to get all my shopping done. Well tonight I went downstairs and started to work on a project for my daughters friend she is a big Alabama fan, she was at a craft fair and she wanted the Alabama composition book that was there. It being Christmas I thought I would make one for her. She and my daughter exchange Christmas gifts. When I get it done I will post it, my daughter also wants one as well but with horses.
Well time to get off to bed have to get up for work in the morning.
I am a little fustrated I have the Cricut Gypsy and was going to use it last night on a school project to help my daughter. The Gypsy said I had to update it, so I did that and went to use the Cricut Expression and my screen did not come on the Expression. Luckily I had my baby Cricut and used it with my gypsy. I had to update the baby Cricut as well and it updated fine. Still trying to get the expression to work. I will have to call customer service to see if they can help me. The message board says there is apparently a glitch and some people are able to upload ok and use their machines, and other have the problem I am having. Anyway I was able to help my daugher finish her project, she had to make a Colonial newspaper. I used Lyrical Letters font on the inside of the newpaper and I used Storybook for the title on the front page of the newpaper. The stamps set I used on the back is from Close To My Heart.
I know I have not been able to post anything in a couple of weeks, I have been busy with working and basketball games. Tonight we are having our first Christmas Party ever. We have talked about having a party but never went thru with it. So we finally took the plung. But I thought I would post pictures of house decorated so my son can see them he visits my blog occasionally. He too is a crafter in a different way he paints the models for the Warhammer games.

Well time to get ready to go do errands before the party tonight. Have a great Saturday!
Its almost Friday hurray. I was at Target and bought some Trail Mix in a plastic container. I thought I would decorate this for Christmas. My husband buys peanuts and they come in these good size round containers. I have been saving them and need to get to work to decorate and give as little gifts. I will post those later. But here is one that I finished. I used cuttlebug for embossing the paper on the lid and Sizzix embossing folder. Nestabilties scalloped oval, Merry Christmas was done with a Cricut Cartridge (sorry I cant remember which one) I think its one of the new Christmas carts. The Christmas Tree is done with Joann's dimensional stickers.
